Camping - Parking

Location

The party camping is situated on the festival terrain.

The silent camping and camper camping are situated right across the street.

Price

We welcome the world to both the festival and camping! A camping ticket costs €10, and is available for purchase at the festival entrance. These services are in cooperation with't Schoederkloptje, Chiro Handzame and 24 uur van Snaaskerke.

This price includes:

  • Usage of the toilets and showers
  • Personal garbage bags and an ashtray
  • The opportunity to use a public barbeque at the camping bar
  • A dose of good vibes from our camping crew

Hours

The camping opens its doors on Thursday at 2 p.m. and closes its doors on Sunday at 11 a.m. We expect each visitor to leave the camping site and leave a clean spot by that time.

The Irie Vibes Roots Festival is open to the public on:

  • Thursday, July 22 from 6 p.m.
  • Friday, July 23 from 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 24 from 12 p.m.

The camping is open during the entire weekend.

Parking & Transit

The car parking costs €5 per car and is located on walking distance from the festival entrance. Upon your entry to the car parking, you will receive a ticket suited for writing down your phone number. We require you to do this before placing the ticket behind your windscreen.

We encourage and advise you to use public transport. The municipalty of Kortemark has a train station and a bus station on a small hike's distance from the festival terrain. You won't be alone when you come with public transport. Follow the crowd!
There will also be shuttle busses provided by the organisation to take you to and from the festival terrain.
If you still prefer to come by car, give the free Carpool.be App a try!

The festival and camping are situated in a quiet environment.
We ask you to:

  • Not cause any environmental damage to fields or properties

We kindly ask you to come to the camping with the right intentions: Weapons or any dangerous objects do not belong on the camping or festival terrain.

All forms of fighting, injustice, racism or vandalism are disrespectful and not allowed.

Although we love animals, we cannot admit them to the festival or camping. Animals that are found will be taken to the shelter where the owner can pick it up later. An exception is made for guide dogs.

In case of serious crimes, police can be alarmed..

Personal Belongings

We recommend you leave unnecessarily expensive items at home. If you do wish to bring your items to the festival then remember to practice usual personal security to prevent theft or loss.

IRIE VIBES ROOTS FESTIVAL cannot be held responsible for any accidents, crimes or theft.

I = I&I -- Reconsider your doings before you annoy other beings.

  1. As loving shepherds we want you to be safe so only the fire in your heart can burn. Between the tents every flame is forbidden, so safety we earn
  2. Honor thy mother and respect her. What you don't throw in your momma's living room; you don't throw on Mother Nature’s ground
  3. Thou shalt not steal unless it's a heart, thou shalt not leave values in thy tent; so for thieves no reward, only hell in the end end end end end (dubwise)
  4. Remember the sabbath day , the campsite is for people to rest thou can reason at low level here but keep thy roar for the fest
  5. Food & drinks can be brought to the camp
  6. For this paradise, thou shalt pay only one fee, so you’re at ease for a shower or a pee
  7. Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's house, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to thy neighbor
